This course is designed to let you learn at a time and pace that is convenient for you. The course aims to give a good all round knowledge of drawing a Coptic icon. It also includes lectures on the purpose and meaning of iconography, as well as the history of the Coptic style. No previous experience necessary.

COPTIC ICONOGRAPHY

This course is a 3-day retreat at the beautiful Shephalbury Manor, Stevenage UK. The course is comprised of around 5-8 students, learning how to paint a small Coptic icon (about 300x200mm). All materials are included. No previous experience necessary
