Iconography courses

Materials (including wood, canvas, paints and gold leaf) are supplied to each student at the course. A small fee of £15 per person will be required to pay for each student's accomodation at The Coptic Centre. The cost of materials + accomodation + tuition is £165.

A 3-day course is being held once year at The Coptic Centre in Stevenage, Hertfordshire, UK (www.copticcentre.com).

Throughout the three days of the course students will be painting their own icon, drawing each other from life and learning about the implicit geometry and rich symbolism in Coptic Iconography.
